WHEREAS, Anil Boinapalli, co-founder and chief executive officer of Sky Solutions LLC, a digital transformation consulting firm based in Herndon, was named the Small Business Person of the Year for Virginia by the Small Business Administration as part of the agency's celebration of National Small Business Week in 2024; and

WHEREAS, born and raised in a remote village in the state of Telangana in India, Anil Boinapalli earned a master's degree in computer science from Kakatiya University in India and worked as a technical architect at Harris Corporation and Fannie Mae and later as a solution architect and manager at CNSI; and

WHEREAS, building on his years of experience, Anil Boinapalli co-founded Sky Solutions in 2008 with the vision of creating a firm that would help federal agencies in their transition to digital first operations; and

WHEREAS, from a consultant delivery practice with a team of eight people in 2016, Anil Boinapalli has grown Sky Solutions into a multi-faceted organization with a staff of more than 150 that serves major clients across both the public and private sectors, particularly in the areas of health care, financial services, and national security; and

WHEREAS, under Anil Boinapalli's leadership, Sky Solutions has flourished by helping government agencies and businesses streamline complex and critical procedures and processes, enabling them to better fulfill their missions and to serve their customers; and

WHEREAS, Anil Boinapalli has demonstrated his dedication to the well-being of his employees, working tirelessly to provide mentorship and guidance and to foster a work culture that encourages his staff to pursue and achieve their personal and professional goals; and

WHEREAS, with a deep commitment to hard work and innovation, Anil Boinapalli has embodied the core values that are integral to the Commonwealth's prosperity and success, garnering him the esteem and admiration of all Virginians; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Anil Boinapalli hereby be commended for being named the Small Business Administration's 2024 Small Business Person of the Year for Virginia; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Anil Boinapalli as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for his achievements and best wishes in his future endeavors.
