AN ACT
amending Title 45, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 45-105.01; relating to the department of water resources.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 45, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 45-105.01, to read:
45-105.01. Tribal consultation; duty of director
The director shall notify and consult with Indian tribes when considering activities that might affect tribal water rights and claims.
