   An act to amend Section 522 of the Vehicle Code, relating to
vehicles.



	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2451, as introduced, Achadjian. Vehicles: ridesharing.
   Existing law defines ridesharing to mean 2 or more persons
traveling by any mode, including, but not limited to, carpooling,
vanpooling, buspooling, taxipooling, jitney, and public transit.
   This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that
provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 522 of the Vehicle Code is amended to read:
   522.  "Ridesharing" means two or more  persons 
 individuals  traveling by any mode, including, but not
limited to, carpooling, vanpooling, buspooling, taxipooling, jitney,
and public transit.
