An act to amend Section 352 of the Financial Code, relating to financial institutions.

AB 2555, as introduced, Chen. Commissioner of Business Oversight.
Existing law establishes that the chief officer of the Department of Business Oversight is the Commissioner of Business Oversight, who is charged with regulating various business and financial entities. Existing law authorizes the commissioner to employ deputies, examiners, appraisers, and various other employees to discharge the duties imposed on the commissioner by law.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 352 of the Financial Code is amended to read:

352.
 The commissioner may employ deputies in addition to the chief deputy, and examiners, appraisers, technical assistants, investigators, administrative assistants, clerks, and other employees that he or she may need as needed to discharge in a proper manner the duties imposed upon him or her the commissioner by law.
