Senate Bill
No. 892
Introduced by Senator Chang |
January 28, 2020 |
An act to amend Section 22150 of the Financial Code, relating to finance lenders.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 892, as introduced, Chang.
California Financing Law.
Existing law, the California Financing Law, provides for the licensure and regulation of finance lenders and brokers by the Commissioner of Business Oversight. Existing law authorizes the commissioner to make general rules and regulations, and specific rulings, demands, and findings for the enforcement of that law, as specified.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the latter provision.
