AN ACT CONCERNING REGISTRARS OF VOTERS TRAINING ON DIFFERENT MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 9-192a of the general statutes be amended to prescribe (1) training procedures for registrars of voters detailing the differences between motor vehicle operator's licenses that may be used for voting purposes and those that may not, (2) suitable materials to accompany such training procedures, and (3) the presentation of such procedures and materials at each conference called by the Secretary of the State for the purposes of discussing election laws.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent the impermissible use for voting of certain forms of identification and promote transparency in elections.
