AN ACT CONCERNING A REFUNDABLE PROPERTY TAX CREDIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 203 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the property tax credit is refundable to the extent such credit is larger than the taxpayer's income tax liability.
Statement of Purpose:
To make the property tax credit refundable, so that it benefits taxpayers whose incomes are too low to take all of the credit they are owed.
