AN ACT CONCERNING REMOVABLE WINDSHIELD PLACARDS FOR PERSONS WHO ARE BLIND AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (a) of section 14-253a of the general statutes be amended to require a removable windshield placard to bear the name of the person who is blind or person with disabilities for whom the placard was issued and that subsection (e) of said section be amended to establish a fine and penalty for the abuse of such placard.

Statement of Purpose:

To require removable windshield placards to bear the name of the person who is blind or person with disabilities for whom the placard was issued and to establish penalties for the abuse of such placards.
