AN ACT CONCERNING WATER CONSERVATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to authorize rates for each water company that promote water conservation and efficiency.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage water conservation and long range planning for efficiency use of water resources.
