AN ACT REQUIRING ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-10 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Social Services, within available resources, to establish a system to electronically notify persons who have signed up for such notifications about program developments, law changes and planned updates to regulations.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve communication between the Department of Social Services and the residents of Connecticut.
