AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE BUSINESS ENTITY TAX FOR SMALL EMPLOYERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-284b of the general statutes be amended to exempt any business entity with fewer than one hundred employees from the business entity tax.

Statement of Purpose:

To exempt small employers from the business entity tax.
