AN ACT CONCERNING THE STOCKING OF BEER PRODUCTS ON RETAIL PREMISES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall, not later than January 1, 2012, amend existing regulations of Connecticut state agencies adopted pursuant to section 30-6a of the general statutes to allow an alcoholic liquor product brand owner, manufacturer, out-of-state shipper, wholesaler or salesman to stock the shelves of their retail off-premises consumption place of business customers with such brand owner's, manufacturer's, out-of-state shipper's, wholesaler's or salesman's existing beer products two times per year and any time a new beer product is offered for sale at such place of business by such brand owner, manufacturer, out-of-state shipper, wholesaler or salesman.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||

To allow greater flexibility regarding the stocking of beer products at retail premises.
