Summary

As introduced utility companies must send a duplicate of any notification of a utility bill that has been past due for 90 days or more and any notification of termination of service due to a past due bill that it sends to a tenant assistance recipient enrolled in the third party notification program to the District of Columbia Housing Authority, no more than 2 days after the notification was sent to the tenant assistance recipient. Tenant assistance recipients are District residents who receive monthly housing payment assistance.
