A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to Brevard County; authorizing the
3Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of the
4Department of Business and Professional Regulation to
5issue an alcoholic beverage license to the Brevard Art
6Museum, Inc., for use within the museum's buildings;
7requiring payment of a license fee; providing for the sale
8of beverages for consumption at the museum; providing for
9transfer of the license; providing an effective date.

11Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13     Section 1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
14Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of the Department of
15Business and Professional Regulation is authorized, upon
16application, to issue an alcoholic beverage license in
17accordance with s. 561.17, Florida Statutes, to the Brevard Art
18Museum, Inc., a corporation not for profit (the "corporation")
19located in Brevard County, for use by the corporation within the
20museum's buildings located at 1463 and 1520 Highland Avenue in
21Melbourne. The corporation shall pay the applicable license fee
22provided in s. 565.02, Florida Statutes.
23     Section 2.  Alcoholic beverages may be sold by the
24corporation for consumption at the Brevard Art Museum. The
25license issued pursuant to this act does not permit the sale of
26alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for consumption outside
27the Brevard Art Museum.
28     Section 3.  The corporation may transfer the license from
29time to time to qualified applicants who are authorized by or
30under contract with the corporation to provide food services at
31the Brevard Art Museum. Upon termination of a transferee's
32authorization or contract, the license shall automatically
33revert by operation of law to the corporation.
34     Section 4.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
