Summary

Creates the invasive species rapid response special fund. Adds 10 full-time equivalent (10.0 FTE) positions to the Department of Land and Natural Resources per the Hawaii interagency biosecurity plan. Adds 4 full-time equivalent (4.0 FTE) positions to the Department of Agriculture and requires the Department submit a report to the Legislature. Appropriates funds for positions and for execution of the Hawaii interagency biosecurity plan. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)
