Exempts the Hawaii public housing authority from section 2635(a)(1), (5), and (6), HRS. Authorizes the authority to hire, exempt from chapter 76, HRS, and section 26-35(a)(4), HRS, other key executive management personnel whose qualifications require public housing experience. Requires that the salaries of the executive director, executive assistant, and other key executive management personnel shall not be greater than compensation limitations imposed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Exempts other personnel from section 26-35(a)(4), HRS.
