A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO IOLANI PALACE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2020-2021 for the repair, restoration, and maintenance of the Iolani Palace's coronation pavilion, two pergolas, and fountain, and for the implementation of mitigation measures to protect Iolani Palace's collection of artifacts from the threat of fire.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2049.
