CENTERS.
The
department
of
human
services
shall
adopt
rules
2
pursuant
to
chapter
17A
to
allow
registered
child
development
3
homes
providing
care
to
school-aged
children
to
exceed
the
4
child-staff
ratio
for
school-aged
children
when
a
school-aged
5
child’s
school
starts
late,
is
dismissed
early,
or
is
canceled
6
due
to
inclement
weather
or
structural
damage,
provided
the
7
child
is
currently
enrolled
at
the
registered
child
development
8
home
and
the
registered
child
development
home
does
not
exceed
9
the
child
development
home’s
licensed
capacity.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s

the
members

the
general
assembly.

This
bill
directs
the
department
of
human
services
to
adopt
