subsection
6,
Code
2019,
is

amended
to
read
as
follows:

6.
“Medical
cannabidiol”
means
any
pharmaceutical
3
grade
cannabinoid
found
in
the
plant
Cannabis
sativa
L.
or
4
Cannabis
indica
or
any
other
preparation
thereof
that
has
a
5
tetrahydrocannabinol
level
of
no
more
than
three
percent
no
6
more
than
ninety
grams
of
tetrahydrocannabinol
per
ninety-day
7
supply
and
that
is
delivered
in
a
form
recommended
by
the
8
medical
cannabidiol
board,
approved
by
the
board
of
medicine,
9
and
adopted
by
the
department
pursuant
to
rule.

inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
amends
the
definition
of
“medical
cannabidiol”
by
14
eliminating
the
3
percent
tetrahydrocannabinol
level
cap
and
15
providing
that
a
90-day
supply
of
medical
cannabidiol
shall
16
contain
no
more
than
90
grams
of
tetrahydrocannabinol.
