| 3 | | Sec. 2310-218, by replacing subsection (a) with the following:

| 4 | | "(a) As used in this Section, "phlebotomist" means a person |
| 5 | | specifically trained to draw blood for diagnostic purposes in a |
| 6 | | health care setting."; and

| 7 | | in Section 5, Sec. 2310-218, immediately below subsection (c), |
| 8 | | by inserting the following: |
| 9 | | "(d) This Section does not apply to nonprofit blood banks |
| 10 | | or the affiliated laboratories of nonprofit blood banks.".
