Summary

Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with changes. Requires the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (currently, the Department of Labor) to conduct a study on the potential expansion of apprenticeship programs in this State and produce a report on its findings. Requires the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (currently, the Department of Labor) to submit its report with findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before June 1, 2020.
