Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Identification Card Act and the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. Provides that a Firearm Owner's Identification Card issued by the Department of State Police under the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act may be used for identification purposes by the person to whom it was issued.

Amends the Illinois Identification Card Act and the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. Provides that a Firearm Owner's Identification Card issued by the Department of State Police under the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act may be used for identification purposes by the person to whom it was issued.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Identification Card Act is amended
by adding Section 4F as follows:
(15 ILCS 335/4F new)
Sec. 4F. Use of Firearm Owner's Identification Card for
identification purposes. A Firearm Owner's Identification Card
issued by the Department of State Police may be used for
identification purposes by the person to whom it was issued.
Section 10. The Firearm Owners Identification Card Act is
amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:
(430 ILCS 65/7.5 new)
Sec. 7.5. Use of Firearm Owner's Identification Card for
identification purposes. A Firearm Owner's Identification Card
issued under the provisions of this Act may be used for
identification purposes by the person to whom it was issued.
