Amends the Illinois Identification Card Act and the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Identification Card Act is amended
5by adding Section 4F as follows:
6 (15 ILCS 335/4F new)
7 Sec. 4F. Use of Firearm Owner's Identification Card for
8identification purposes. A Firearm Owner's Identification Card
9issued by the Department of State Police may be used for
10identification purposes by the person to whom it was issued.
11 Section 10. The Firearm Owners Identification Card Act is
12amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:
13 (430 ILCS 65/7.5 new)
14 Sec. 7.5. Use of Firearm Owner's Identification Card for
15identification purposes. A Firearm Owner's Identification Card
16issued under the provisions of this Act may be used for
17identification purposes by the person to whom it was issued.
