2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mary LaWeir Lochbaum of Peoria, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on March 31, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was born in Middletown to John and | ||||||
6 | Nellie (Allison) Anderson on June 21, 1927; she graduated from | ||||||
7 | Manual High School; she then attended Bradley University; she | ||||||
8 | graduated from Illinois Central College, where she earned her | ||||||
9 | associate's degree; she married Edward "Bud" Lochbaum on June | ||||||
10 | 13, 1947; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was a revenue agent and accountant | ||||||
12 | for the Internal Revenue Service for many years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was a lifelong member of the former | ||||||
14 | Arcadia Avenue Presbyterian Church in Peoria; she was a former | ||||||
15 | member of the Peoria Jubilee Business and Professional Women | ||||||
16 | and the Daughters of the American Revolution; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was preceded in death by her | ||||||
18 | husband, Bud; her parents; her two stepdaughters; her stepson; | ||||||
19 | two brothers; and two sisters; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum is survived by her stepson, Gerald |

1 | Lochbaum; her daughters, Judy (Jon) Steffens, Kathy Dougherty, | ||||||
2 | and Cindy (James) Janovetz; her many beloved grandchildren and | ||||||
3 | great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews; | ||||||

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Mary LaWeir Lochbaum and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
9 | further

10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Mary Lochbaum as an expression of | ||||||
