2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mary Lee (Warnecke) Barnett, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on January 5, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Barnett was born to Clarence and Elizabeth | ||||||
6 | Warnecke on May 16, 1942; she graduated from Waukegan High | ||||||
7 | School in 1960; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Mary Barnett worked many different jobs, but she | ||||||
9 | took great pride in her secretarial work; she was very proud of | ||||||
10 | and enjoyed her time at SEDOL; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Mary Barnett was an active member of St. Anastasia | ||||||
12 | Church, where she enjoyed singing and was a member of the | ||||||
13 | choir; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Mary Barnett was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
15 | Charles; her parents; her brothers, Robert and James Warnecke; | ||||||
16 | and her daughter, Jennifer Mitchell; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Mary Barnett is survived by her daughters, Carolyn | ||||||
18 | (Jay) Picard, Barbi Dodge, Chris Frantal, and Lori (Jim) | ||||||
19 | Liebert; her eight grandchildren; her nine | ||||||
20 | great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Judy Warnecke; and her |

1 | many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Mary Lee (Warnecke) Barnett and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
5 | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be | ||||||
6 | it further
| ||||||
7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Mary Barnett as an expression of our | ||||||
9 | deepest sympathy.
