2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Pamela S. "Pam" Lahey of Gages Lake, | ||||||
4 | formerly of Fox Lake, who passed away on March 26, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Pam Lahey was born to Ray and Ivanetta Walsh on | ||||||
6 | July 22, 1944; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Pam Lahey was a professional Hula and Tahitian | ||||||
8 | dancer; she opened her own dance studio in Fox Lake when she | ||||||
9 | was 18 years old; she later moved the studio to her home; she | ||||||
10 | taught dance through the Mundelein Park District for 25 years | ||||||
11 | and retired in 2009; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Pam Lahey helped start the Warren Packerettes | ||||||
13 | Cheer Program and served as coach for many years; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Pam Lahey was preceded in death by her parents and | ||||||
15 | her siblings, Bill Walsh and Shirley Magenta; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Pam Lahey is survived by her husband of 50 years, | ||||||
17 | Rich; her children, Keith Lahey, Michelle (the late Stanley | ||||||
18 | Kerns) Lahey, and Renee (Pedro) Solano; her grandchildren, | ||||||
19 | Isabella Solano and Cathy (Eric) Springer; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Pamela S. "Pam" Lahey and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
