SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Olga C. Leginski of North Chicago, who
4passed away on March 25, 2019 at the age of 102; and
5 WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was born in North Chicago on
6September 18, 1916; and
7 WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was employed at the Shore Acres
8Country Club for over 25 years; and
9 WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was a member of the North Chicago
10Senior Citizens Club, the Polish Home, the Holy Name Society,
11Foss Park Seniors, and Queen of Peace Catholic Church in North
12Chicago; and
13 WHEREAS, Olga Leginski was preceded in death by her husband
14of 66 years, Joseph; her son, Michael; and her sisters, Ann and
15Stella; and
16 WHEREAS, Olga Leginski is survived by her daughter,
17Constance (Meldan) Danielson; her daughter-in-law, Joyce
18Leginski; her grandchildren, Joseph (Christina) Danielson,
19Maria (Ryan) May, Robert (Cami) Danielson, Mark (Beth)
20Leginski, and Lisa (Chris) Leynes; and her

1great-grandchildren, Reagan May, Connor May, Max Leginski,
2Brynn Leginski, Livia Leynes, Noah Leynes, and Hailey Rivera;
3therefore, be it
4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Olga C. Leginski and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Olga Leginski as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
