2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Robert E. "Bob" Houghton of Morton, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on May 20, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Bob Houghton was born in Peoria to Russell and | ||||||
6 | Anna (Rentsch) Houghton on April 7, 1933; he married Shirley | ||||||
7 | Greiner in Morton on March 29, 1956; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Bob Houghton worked as a mechanic at the Ford | ||||||
9 | garage in Morton for 47 years; he retired from Mike Murphy Ford | ||||||
10 | in 1998; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Bob Houghton is survived by his wife, Shirley; his | ||||||
12 | daughter, Lori Weiss; his grandchildren, Marc (Megan) | ||||||
13 | Houghton, Kris (Tiffany Feger) Weiss, and Carrie (Marc | ||||||
14 | Feldhaus) Weiss; his great-grandchildren, Rylee, Marcus, | ||||||
15 | Onaleigh, Jace, Jaxon, Oakley, and Jett; his sister, Jacqueline | ||||||
16 | Stoecker; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
19 | Robert. E. "Bob" Houghton and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
