| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Clayton Gaudry of Crown Point, Indiana, | ||||||
| 4 | formerly of Bourbonnais, who passed away on May 11, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was a junior at Crown Point High | ||||||
| 6 | School and an honors student with a 4.2 GPA; he planned to | ||||||
| 7 | attend Indiana University Bloomington to major in finance and | ||||||
| 8 | had already completed college courses over the past three | ||||||
| 9 | years; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was proud of the computer he built | ||||||
| 11 | by himself; he enjoyed working on his car, riding his dirt bike | ||||||
| 12 | and motorcycle, fishing, and hunting; he loved hockey and had | ||||||
| 13 | played for a team at the Midwest Training and Ice Center; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was selfless; he loved helping | ||||||
| 15 | others and adored his family and friends; his family hopes his | ||||||
| 16 | death will raise awareness about the importance of slowing down | ||||||
| 17 | and watching for motorcycles; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 19 | grandmother, Becky Rocha; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry is survived by his parents, Tony | ||||||

| 1 | and Jessica Gaudry; his brother, Ethan Gaudry; his sister, | ||||||
| 2 | Lauryn Gaudry; his grandparents, Randy and Sherry Regnier, | ||||||
| 3 | Julie and Scott Hill, and Scott MacDonald; his aunts and | ||||||
| 4 | uncles, Elisha and Bryan Jurewicz, Ken Gaudry, Dale MacDonald, | ||||||
| 5 | Brendan Uhlir, and Jacob Regnier; and his many cousins; | ||||||

| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Clayton Gaudry and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
