2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Dorothy M. Davis, who passed away on May | ||||||
4 | 16, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Davis was born in Chicago to Thomas and | ||||||
6 | Mary (Sheridan) Cassidy; she attended Mercy High School and | ||||||
7 | graduated from the Little Company of Mary Hospital School of | ||||||
8 | Nursing; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Davis worked on the pediatric nursing | ||||||
10 | staff at St. Joseph Hospital; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Davis had a passion for helping others; | ||||||
12 | she was devoted to her family, her patients, and her faith; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Davis was preceded in death by her husband | ||||||
14 | of 59 years, John L. Davis; her parents; and her siblings, | ||||||
15 | Thomas Cassidy and JoAnn (Cassidy) Cooney; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Davis is survived by her children, John T. | ||||||
17 | Davis, Madonna (Mike) Gale, Gerard (Crystal) Davis, Kathleen | ||||||
18 | (Len) Capristo, and Dennis (Claudia) Davis; her grandchildren, | ||||||
19 | Michael (Martha) Gale, Andrew (Allison) Davis, Patrick | ||||||
20 | (Camille) Gale, Nicholas (Sara) Davis, Gabrielle Davis, Ryne |
