Summary

School accountability. Provides that the state board of education shall place each school in a category or designation of school performance once annually pursuant to the department of education's consolidated state plan approved by the United States Department of Education in accordance with the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Repeals certain provisions relating to the current school accountability requirements. Makes conforming amendments.
