Summary

Creating a procedure by which a person who has been convicted of or charged with a sexually violent offense, who suffers from a mental abnormality or personality disorder, and who has been determined to be in need of commitment to a State facility may be committed to the custody of the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene until a specified court makes a determination that the mental abnormality or personality disorder has changed so that the person, if released, is not likely to engage in a specified act; etc.
