AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO MR. TERRY W. LENOIR OF MONROE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Mr. Terry W. Lenoir of Monroe County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction for bribery in Monroe County, Mississippi, in 2010, and sentenced to serve one (1) year with five (5) years on Post Release Supervision.  The Legislature has been reliably informed that Mr. Lenoir completed Post Release Supervision and was discharged on May 22, 2015.  The Legislature has also been reliably informed that Mr. Lenoir is now conducting himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
