AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO AZALEAN JONES ROGERS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Azalean Jones Rogers of Bolivar County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of her conviction of the crime of forgery in 1979 in Bolivar County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to probation for three (3) years and never entered the Department of Corrections' custody.  Her probation was terminated on December 18, 1981.  Since that time, she has conducted herself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
