A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT appropriating funds to greene county for the purpose of constructing a pull‑off parking lot for school buses adjacent to Nooherooka Monument in snow hill, north carolina.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of G.S. 143B‑135.56, there is appropriated from the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund the sum of forty thousand dollars ($40,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2016‑2017 fiscal year to Greene County for the purpose of constructing a pull‑off parking lot for school buses adjacent to the Nooherooka Monument in Snow Hill, North Carolina, provided a like amount of non‑State funds is raised by Greene County to match the appropriation on a dollar‑for‑dollar basis.
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
