A JOINT RESOLUTION providing for adjourning the 2013 regular session of the general assembly to a date certain and limiting the matters that may be considered upon reconvening and providing for adjournment sine die of the 2013 regular session of the general assembly.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1. When the House of Representatives and the Senate adjourn on the date this resolution is ratified, they stand adjourned to reconvene on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 7:00 p.m.

SECTION 2. During the Regular Session that reconvenes on Monday, November 17, 2014, only the following matters may be considered:

(1) Bills related to the structure, operation, and funding of Medicaid.

(2) A joint resolution adjourning the 2013 Regular Session of the General Assembly sine die.

(3) Bills returned by the Governor with his objections under Section 22 of Article II of the Constitution of North Carolina, but solely for the purpose of considering overriding of the veto upon reconsideration of the bill.

SECTION 3. When the House of Representatives and the Senate, constituting the 2013 Session of the General Assembly, adjourn on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, they stand adjourned sine die.

SECTION 4. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
