A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT TO disapprove a rule to provide for regulation of the idling of heavy‑duty vehicles.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to G.S. 150B‑21.3(b1), Heavy‑Duty Vehicle Idling Restrictions Rule 15A NCAC 02D .1010, as adopted by the Environmental Management Commission on July 9, 2009, and approved by the Rules Review Commission on August 20, 2009, is disapproved.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
