A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to implement the statewide classification and compensation system.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. Section 36.19A(a) of S.L. 2016‑94 reads as rewritten:
"SECTION 36.19A.(a) The Office of State Human Resources shall not commence
the implementation phase of the Statewide Compensation System Project (Project)
prior to February 1, 2017.no later than December 31, 2016."
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
