A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to create the asheville‑buncombe regional park authority.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The General Assembly establishes the Asheville‑Buncombe Regional Park Authority (Park Authority) for the purpose of providing parks and recreational facilities for the benefit of its member jurisdictions. The Park Authority shall have jurisdiction over the property allocated to the Park Authority by the respective member jurisdictions of the Park Authority.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
