A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to permit the Village of Tobaccoville to use powell bill funds for the planning, construction, and maintenance of parks and recreational facilities.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding G.S. 136‑41.3(a), the Village of Tobaccoville may use funds allocated pursuant to G.S. 136‑41.1 for the planning, construction, and maintenance of parks and recreational facilities.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law and applies to funds received before, on, or after the effective date.
