STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT establishing a maternity care room for members of the general court.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Maternity Room.  Amend RSA 14-A by inserting after section 4 the following new section:

14-A:4-a  Maternity Room.  The legislature shall make a maternity room available to members of the general court on session days.  The purpose of the room shall be to provide a private area to nurse or change a baby's clothes or diapers.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
