STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT exempting commercial vessels from rafting rules.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Rafting of Boats; Exceptions.  Amend RSA 270:45, VII-VIII to read as follows:

VII.  Sailboats operated by recognized youth groups under the direct control of a counselor or other responsible adult; [or]

VIII.  Boats on any body of water of less than 400 acres, or on any estuary or tidal waters of the state[.]; or

IX.  Any commercial vessel on inland waters which is anchored by way of spudding or spuds.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
