STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT relative to review of job candidate applications by school board members.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; School Boards; Duty to Provide Education.  Amend RSA 189:1-a by inserting after paragraph IV the following new paragraph:

V.  School board members may:

(a)  Review resumes and applications of all candidates for administrative positions in the school district.

(b)  Attend all interviews and reviews of all candidates for administrative positions in the school district.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
