STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen
AN ACT relative to compact sections of towns.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Highway System; Establishing Compact Sections by Agreement with Municipalities. RSA 229:5, V is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
V. The commissioner of transportation may establish compact sections in cities and towns as agreed between the department of transportation and the municipality. In addition to the authority in RSA 229:5, IV, the commissioner may review and adjust the compact limits for established compacts by agreement with the municipality. The commissioner shall maintain a list on the department's website of cities and towns that have established compact sections.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
