SYNOPSIS

     Requires Civil Service Commission to refund appeal processing fee when applicant prevails on final appeal decision.

An Act concerning certain fees charged by the Civil Service Commission and supplementing chapter 2 of Title 11A of the New Jersey Statutes. 

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    When an appeal processing fee, as required pursuant to law or regulations adopted by the commission, is paid, the fee shall be reimbursed to the applicant in full when the applicant prevails on the final decision on the appeal. 

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately. 

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill requires the Civil Service Commission to refund appeal processing fees when the person applying for the appeal is successful on the final decision.
