SYNOPSIS

     Makes General Fund supplemental appropriation of $750,000 to DMVA for ancillary transportation for residents of Veterans' Memorial Homes.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 and regulating the disbursement thereof, "  approved June 30, 2019 (P.L.2019, c.   ). (pending before the Legislature as Senate, No. 2020 and Assembly, No. 5600 of 2019).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2019, c.   , (pending before the Legislature as Senate, No. 2020 and Assembly, No. 5600 of 2019) there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

67 DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AND VETERNS' AFFAIRS

80 Special Government Services

83 Services to Veterans

The amount hereinabove appropriated shall be allocated equally among the three Veterans' Memorial Homes, Menlo Park, Paramus, and Vineland, for the purpose of providing ancillary transportation to residents of the homes.

 

     2.    This act shall take immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill will appropriate $750,000 to the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs for allocation to the three Veterans' Memorial Homes, Menlo Park, Paramus, and Vineland, to provide ancillary transportation to residents of the homes.
