STATEMENT

This bill removes the time limitation on when a county committee of a political party is prohibited from making a contribution to or accepting a contribution from another county committee of a political party.  Under current law, no such contribution can be made or accepted between January 1 and June 30 of each year.  The bill removes this limitation.  As a result, a county committee is prohibited from making or accepting a contribution from another county committee at any time.
