Requires compensatory time off for certain correctional police officers and parole officers for work during state of emergency.

An Act concerning correctional police officers and parole officers and supplementing Title 30 of the Revised Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. a. A correctional police officer 1[or a parole officer]1 shall be provided with compensatory time off, in addition to any regular compensation, at the rate of one hour for every hour worked during a declared state of emergency, pursuant to P.L.1942, c.251 (C.App.A:9-33 et seq.), for a maximum of 400 hours of compensatory time off annually for any individual officer.
b. For purposes of this section1[:"Correctional], correctional1 police officer" means a person assigned by the New Jersey Department of Corrections as an adult correctional police officer or a person assigned by the Juvenile Justice Commission as a juvenile correctional police officer or a juvenile detention officer.
1["Parole officer" means a person assigned by the Chairman of the State Parole Board or the chairman's designee and, with respect to a juvenile inmate, a person assigned by the Juvenile Justice Commission] This definition shall include correctional police officers, senior correctional police officers, correctional police sergeants, and correctional police lieutenants1.
12. a. A parole officer shall be provided with compensatory time off, in addition to any regular compensation, at the rate of one hour for every hour worked during a declared state of emergency, pursuant to P.L.1942, c.251 (C.App.A:9-33 et seq.), for a maximum of 400 hours of compensatory time off annually for any individual officer.
b. For purposes of this section, "parole officer" means a person assigned by the Chairman of the State Parole Board or the chairman's designee and, with respect to a juvenile inmate, a person assigned by the Executive Director of the Juvenile Justice Commission.1
