SYNOPSIS

     Makes supplemental appropriation of $1,500,000 for Bright Side Manor in Teaneck to fund capital improvement costs.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 30, 2019 (P.L.2019, c.150).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2019, c.150, the annual State appropriations act for fiscal year 2020, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

 

22 DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS 50 Economic Planning, Development, and Security 55 Social Services Programs   GRANTS-IN-AID

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill supplements the fiscal year 2020 appropriations act by appropriating $1,500,000 for the Department of Community Affairs to provide funding to Bright Side Manor.

     Bright Side Manor is an assisted living facility for seniors located in Teaneck. The appropriation is necessary for capital improvement costs associated with the renovation and expansion of the Bright Side Manor facility.
