Summary

To address the increasing shortage of nurses in New York State. The program assists nursing students in obtaining a baccalaureate and/or associate degree in nursing by providing loans for students enrolled in approved institutions. Nursing students receiving loans through the program will be obligated for one-year of employment as a nurse in New York State, for each year of assistance received.
