       AN ACT to amend chapter 631 of the laws of  1997,  amending  the  social
         services  law  relating  to authorizing medical assistance payments to
         certain clinics or diagnostic and treatment centers,  in  relation  to
         extending the effectiveness thereof
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 631 of the laws of 1997, amending  the
    2  social  services law relating to authorizing medical assistance payments
    3  to certain clinics or diagnostic and treatment centers,  as  amended  by
    4  chapter 47 of the laws of 2007, is amended to read as follows:
    5    S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
    6  apply to claims for reimbursement payments whether submitted before,  on
    7  or  after the effective date of this act, and shall expire and be deemed
    8  repealed July 1, [2009] 2011.
    9    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
